Emily Wood is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian in New York State. Emily has been a Registered Dietitian for the past 9 years, with a strong foundation in clinical nutrition, and a primary focus of preventing and managing disease through natural approaches and plant based eating. Being active and health conscience most of her life, Emily decided that becoming a Registered Dietitian would allow her to better share her love for being healthy with others. She started her work in a not-for-profit organization serving the aging population through a community nutrition program. Desiring a position closer to her home town, Emily sought out a job as a clinical Dietitian at Sister’s Hospital, where she worked 8 years. Emily has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dietetics from Buffalo State College. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and WNY Dietetic Association.
